She would shit in the litter boxes but she would not piss in the litter. I did get her to piss on the pads I put in the one liter box, so it is not the box that is the problem. She just won't piss on litter. And she is very particular about a clean box.

The thing is J cleaned the boxes on Tuesday. They are as clean as they get.

Arwen and Embar have always had problems but that doesn't change our situation.

I really don't think it is a physical problem. She is healthy active and alert. She is not eliminating out of loss of control. She is not trying to upset or punish us.

I think the new curtain I put up frightened her away from the litter box and she was trying to find an acceptable alternative. Now that I've taken the curtain down this problem might go away. Then we will just be back to her pissing on the plastic beside the box in the hall.

I just remember how nice it was the night she got outside and in the morning I was able to get to the bathroom without stepping in a puddle of piss.

We love her. But she decreases our quality of life.
